The Law Offices of Lonnie M. Player, Jr., PLLC is a full service law firm geared to business owners and professionals that expect results in timely fashion for a fair cost.  The Firm concentrates its practice in the areas of business, construction and real property litigation, collections, foreclosure as well as in all varieties of business transactions (including contract drafting, business sales and acquisitions and corporate formation and governance), wills, estate planning and probate.  Mr. Player has over a decade of experience in these areas in all North Carolina state and federal courts.  No matter where your legal needs in North Carolina arise, The Law Offices of Lonnie M. Lonnie M. Player, Jr. was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina where his family has mainatined a strong business presence in commercial construction and real estate development for almost 75 years.  Mr. Player is a 1989 graduate of The Fayetteville Academy and a 1993 cum laude graduate of Duke University.  From Duke, Mr. Player went on to earn a Master's degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995 before returning home to earn his law degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998.  Mr. Player has practiced law in Cumberland County for his entire career, is a Past President of the Cumberland County Bar Association (2006-07) and currently serves both as a member of the North Carolina State Judicial Council, which oversees the operation of the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts and as North Carolina State Bar Councilor for the Twelfth Judicial District where he sits on the State Bar's Grievance, Authorized Practice and LAMP (Legal Assistance to Military Personnel) Committees.

A lifelong history buff and advocate for historic preservation, Mr. Player served as Chairman of the Fayetteville Historic Resources Commission from 1999 to 2003.  He has also served on the Boards of Directors of The Museum of the Cape Fear, the Fayetteville Symphony, the Fayetteville Museum of Art and the Downtown Fayetteville Alliance as well as on the Methodist University Board of Visitors.  Mr. Player has been married to his wife, Dana Faye Player, also of Fayetteville, since 2002.  Their daughter, Alexandria, attends Peace College in Raleigh, North Carolina.
